Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani Launches SIMPLE and SACHET geo-tagged enable mobile application at Gandhinagar.

The aim of Gujarat’s Labour Department application SACHET (Safety and Comprehensive Health Environment Test) which will allow work environment monitoring in industrial units. Whereas, SIMPLE (Shram Inspection Mobile Portal for Labour & Employer) will bring in greater transparency in inspections at factories and also make the process quicker.

Launch of the SACHET plan to prevent accidents and occupational diseases at the factory and construction site. This helps in inspecting the water, air quality, noise, daylight, visibility of employee and environment.

“We will form 20 mobile teams, comprising of trained technical personnel and equipped with ultramodern scientific equipment to monitor work environments in hazardous industrial units. Seven other mobile teams will monitor work environments at construction sites,” said Vipul Mittra, Additional Chief Secretary, Labour and Employment Department.

SIMPLE

SIMPLE (Shram Inspection Mobile Portal for Labour & Employer) also launched by the Chief Minister will bring in transparency to the labour inspection process.

This app help the state of more than 40,000 factories, Workshops and construction sites for online documentations and instant inspection reports. At present, remarks related to the inspection of industrial units are uploaded only from office.

“The use of the SIMPLE mobile app will bring in greater transparency in inspections and also make the process quicker. Moreover, the inspection report will be available to the industry concerned, online itself” – Additional Chief Secretary, Labour and Employment Department.
